10 years and first problem to repair. When you turn on and select DVD or any other selection a very loud cracking noise comes through right speaker only. So loud (with volume tuned off too) that I fear...

I think your receiver is damaged.

Try this.

Mark the speaker wires on the back of the receiver. label the speaker connected to the left channel "Left" and the speaker connected the the right channel "Right"

Also pay attention to the polarity (positive an negative) making some type of marking on your speaker wire so you can reconnect them correctly.

Disconnect both left and right speakers.

Connect the speaker wire that is labeled "Right" to the receiver's left speaker connections only then turn your receiver on.

IF the loud noise comes back, this speaker is damaged. I am guessing that the speaker is fine.

Now connect the speaker that was labeled "Left" to the receiver's right speaker connections and turn the receiver on.

IF the loud noise comes back like it did before but now playing through the "good" speaker there is a problem with your receiver.

If so, your receiver is 10 years old. Isn't it time for an upgrade? Try ebay for good used equipment deals.

Iphone 4 speaker not loud.

Ifthe volume level is normal using headphones, so clean the speaker side gently with a toothbrush. At times some dust could clog the little holes.

Nokia N73 Speaker problem

Hello Sir, OK, So according to you the phone just enables Loud Speaker not the Normal Voice Output Jack. But First, I want to tell you that a phone has different output jacks for the Earpeice ( the normal Speaker ) and for the Loud Speaker. If the phone is enabling the Loud Speaker only then its obvious that the Phone's is not being able to initiate the Normal Voice Output Jack. Thus my advice is to take it to a Service Center and get the Earpeice Changed or if possible, repaired.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

People can hear me but i cant hear them

To confirm that ur speaker is dead try to speak in the loud speaker mode. If u happen to hear them in loud speaker mode but not in the normal speaker mode then its confirmed that u need to replace ur speaker unit.

Thankyou

The loud speaker doesn't work .

Hi there. With speaker disconnected. use an ohm meter to check the continuity of the speaker voice coil. (speaker terminals) Should be 1 to 3 ohm. If no continuity, bad speaker voice coil.
Thanks

No call volume om samsung e250

This because in your handset there will be 2 speakers
1 is loud speaker and 2 nd one is ear piece speaker....

so the loud speaker is working fine ...
There may be some loose contact in the ear piece speaker or the speaker might have got damaged ...

so if you are good at opening then just open your handset and check if there is any loose contact in the ear piece speaker .. is so fit it correctly ..
or you replace the ear piece speaker with the new one ...

if you are not good at opening then just contact the technician ...
he will do it ...
The ear piece speaker is very cheap so no problem .. just buy the ear piece speaker which is compatible to your handset in the shop if you are doing it by your self ...

the technician might take the service charge for this that s all but the ear piece speaker is too much cheap ..

any doubts reply me
i am always here to assist you
thank you
bye ...
