Question about Dishwashers
Probably a bad part. If you can't find any misgivings then you will need a tech to come out and look at it. But if you're suspect of something you should list it when you reply. # 1 problem is the door switch. It could have moved at bit and now the door cannot contact it. Otherwise you have an electrical or mechanical fault somewhere inside.
Ask yourself some questions:
1) Did it smell like burning rubber or plastic when it was found not working? Do you have any lights on when you press the on/off button
2) Did the breaker switch trip? Go to your electrical panel and check.
3) Do you rinse the dishes before you stack them? You can jamb the dishwasher if you leave a bone on a plate, even a small piece will stop a motor if it gets stuck in the right place.
