Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
Dryer starts fine and feels like its getting to the correct temperature but shuts off after about 10-15 minutes before clothes are dried.
If the dryer seems to be running fine check the vent line and the duct that the lint filter slides into, most likely if it takes to long to dry clothes lint is blocking the air movement somewhere, when was the last time you cleaned out the dryer and vent line, you should clean the dryer once a year so you don't have a fire and your clothes will dry on time,if the vent line is long remove it from the back of the dryer and blow it out with a leaf blower, remove the lint filter duct and clean it and vac out the cabinet where the motor is.

SOURCE: turns off after a few minutes
sounds like your motor is overheating or going bad. sometimes lint built up around the motor can cause it to overheat. or the motor is dying.

This problem may be the result of a dirty lent filter which if clogged will short cycle the dryer and the clothes will still be damp when done. Also a dirty exhaust pipe (usally 4") will prevent the clothes from drying correctly. Make sure that the air is leaving the machine. To do this you have to go outside when the machine is running.

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
Clean your dryer vents, and lint filters. You may need to clean vent from wall to outside. to test this.. unhook vent pipe from wall..and run dryer and see what happens. or you have a defective heat coil
