Question about Televison & Video
It sounds that the main power regulator section circuit has damaged. Contact any service technician. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact any experienced service technician, or the nearest service center.

SOURCE: lg 32lcd2d (tv won't turn on)
It is most likely the power supply. If you see domed caps change them using a higher voltage cap. If it's 1000uf at 15vdc put in a 1000uf at 25 or 35 vdc. If this helps let me know.

SOURCE: Audiovox LCD FPE3206 problems
I ordered a new power supply module on ebay. Cost about 106.00 delivered. Came in a few days. I replaced the unit, bunch of screws, all wires were cable plugins, no problems at all.
After reassembly, it worked. What can I say? Sometimes ya just get lucky.

Had the same problem myself. Took some doing but I managed to find a service bulletin that I downloaded. The problem is with the siene module and all you need to do is unplug connector JP63A from the main board and your TV will work again.
Take the back off the TV (there are a lot of screws) and look on the left hand side of the main circuit board that is mounted in the center of the TV. You will see a small white connector that is labelled JP63A, simply unplug it. Plug the TV back in and let it reboot. That's it, should be able to watch immediately.

re: sony flat panel lcd tv mod. # klv s 40a10.
No power. When power button is pressed, nothing happens.
The stand-by at the power supply ( cn6201) measures to be 3.47 v. instead of 5 v. However, when I unplug cn6201 (5 pin connector) I can read 5v. at the power supply.
