You have an onboard water tank, Potable water. WHen not hooked up to a hose outside the rv, you can pump water from tank on board.

Switch left on now Atwood RV electric water heater will not heat. What needs replaced?

If no water in it when switch left on for hydro use, you probably burned out the element. They burn out pretty quick when no water. You have to shut off breaker to it for safety, and remove back cover where you see hydro cable going in to access it.

What does DSI mean when referring to RV water heaters?

D.S.I. = Direct Spark Ignition. You would have a 12 volt switch inside RV, that when turned to ON, will ignite water heater automatically, provided ignition module and rest of components are there, or come with new water heater. Otherwise you would have to go outside with a lighter/matches or whatever and manually start the water heater.

YEP. I'M IN THE RV BIZ AND IT'S MORE COMMON THAN U THINK. SOME DEALERS DON'T DO A THOROUGH JOB OF DELIVERY INSPECTIONS. ANYWAY, TAKE A HAIR DRYER AND THAW OUT UR FROZEN WATER LINE. SWITCH AROUND THE OFFENDING WATER LINES, THERE SHOULD BE ENOUGH PIPE TO ACCOMPLISH THIS. ASSUMING THE LOW FLOW IS WHEN UR USING UR PUMP, YOU CAN TURN THE PHILLIPS SCREW ON THE HEAD OF THE PUMP CLOCKWISE TO GIVE IT A LONGER STROKE. CHECK THE SCREEN FILTER FOR ANY DEBRIS, KINKS IN THE LINE BETWEEN THE PUMP AND WATER TANK, MAKE SURE THE AERATOR SCREENS AT THE SINKS AREN'T PLUGGED.

Hot Water Heater in 1991 Pace Arrow RV is not working

If you look on the outside of the RV, you will find the vent for the water heater behind and access door. There usually is a drain plug and valve located as well. Generally they will be tucked away under the kitchen sink area with internal access as well. You will need to find where the valve that shuts the water off to the unit is and turn it on. Most times the water heater is either electric or propane. But sometimes they are only propane. Once your find the access door, you will know where the water heater is. You can also contact Fleetwood who makes the Pace Arrow to see if they have any information on your unit. Usually your unit info or trim number will be located on a little plaque right by the entrance to the RV. You will need this when you contact them. Hope this helps.
