Hi adi
Your pump sounds as if it is air bound...that is air that is trapped inside of the impeller housing and not allowing the pump to pump water the pump using water to dispel the air

SOURCE: Pump motor runs but no suction, disassembled flute

Check the pump impeller inside for damage or obstructions. A clogged or broken impeller would fit your description of symptoms. If you find nothing in the pump your next step would be the filter.

Bypass it using a recirculate feature if one is present on the control valve.

Another test would be to try backwashing you filter if you can to see if the pump operates in that setting.

If none of those solve your problem post a comment with any details from what happened when trying these steps and we can look elsewhere for a solution.

Why does it emit a high-pitched squeal (while running)?

This is usually caused by a belt being too tight or the wrong size. It can also be caused by something wrapped around the brush (like loose thread from a rug or yarn, shoestring etc. Try inspecting the brush and belt.

No pressure in the filter

Pull the pump apart, maybe the impeller is broken, put a hose up the suction line to check for blockage, is there a non return valve in the suction line? Maybe just an air leak, only takes a pin hole !

I have EP2105i and it does not want to spray though motor on and seems to be suction when prime

Hi, W/D here.

Here's a few things to try:
1. Disassemble the gun and check the filter in the handle. Deposits can plug the gun up. Change the filter if necessary, they're cheap.
2. Disassemble the tip and clean. I use a small brush, not unlike a toothbrush, to clean mine. A toothpick or small dental probe works well for removing harder deposits.
3. On the bottom side of the pump is a primer pump. You push the stem several times to make sure that the check ball on the inside is operating freely. You may need to clean it if it's operation is suspect.
4. When initially starting the sprayer up, set the control knob to prime and pump water into a waste bucket. Turn the knob from prime to paint and try to pump water through the tip of the gun. If the pump shuts off on prssure, but nothing comes out of the tip, roll the lever 180 degrees and try it again. Reversing the tip puts in the cleanout mode, and reverses the flow through the tip, backwashing it. Once clear, return the tip to the normal position.
These few items always get me up and running, hopefully they'll serve you well also.
Best regards, --W/D--Please feel free to rate this solution. Thanks.

Our booster pump in the condominium does not not function anymore. is rewinding can solve the problem?

I wouldn't consider rewinding a motor of that size unless it's impossible to get a replacement, in which case I'd modify the pump to take a common motor.

It's cheaper to build a small motor than it is the rewind it- it's quite a job to rewind a motor, and small motors are hardest.

Look on the motor tag- you should see RPM, HP and Frame Size. These are the three things you need to know to replace the motor. If the shaft is odd, as it sometimes is in pump motors, you can always just replace the entire motor stator- the housing with the laminations and windings, with one from a different motor of the same brand, frame size, HP and RPM. Again, cheaper than rewinding the motor, but a little more work than just replacing it.

My Pool Pump Motor Had been running fine, then the other day the motor shut down. The motor was very hot, once it cooled down you could turn it back on. It would run for awhile then shut down again. What...

Most single phase motors have an overload protection device, either over current operated or temperature operated, either way once it cools the motor can be restarted, but you need to find the problem.
1. Bearings, if it runs noisily and possibly vibrates it might need a new set of bearings.
2. If it sounds like it has bit of an electrical hum or sounds labored may there is a pump problem overloading the motor and therefore drawing too much current and overheating.
3. Depending on the internal start and run circuit the start capacitor may have died or the centrifugal switch that switches between the start and run windings once it gets some RPM going may be malfunctioning.
4. It could just have a stator winding problem and need rewinding.
Unfortunately the last 3 options need some electrical test instruments and will need to open the motor up to see what design it is. Your best bet is to take it to your local rewind shop and get them to check it for you.
A rewind may be just as expensive as a new motor these days $300 to $400

hi there!
short circuited at start damage motor compressor
if you have a service center for motor compressor have checked this one, motor compressor has thermal overload protection mostly on single phase motor inside the motor,in the absence of overload protector the winding of motor on start and running maybe shor circuited.this should be rewind by motor rewinder.check the cost of motor rewind to a brand new motor.have choose n it.have a nice day fix my rate.

Correct hydraulic reservoir size for pump

First figuire out the gallons per minute by running the oil out for a fixed size jug or can (ie. 5 gallon bucket) into another bucket of the same size. Time how long it takes to transfer all the liquid from one to another. Now he knows the gpm, the rule of thumb is for each two or three gallons for each gallon per minute of the pump. Note: The suction should have a strainer on it with a elbow at a 45 degree angle to prevent clogging. The return line pipe should be cut at a 45 degree angle with the large end towards the reservoir wall. This also prevents clogging and ensure the oil does not get picked up by the suction immediately so it can cool. A baffle plate between the suction and a return is also recommended. A solid plate with a gap at the bottom and lower than the operating fluid level will work effectively.

No suction beam serenity plus

You may need a new filter bag part #110346. They can cause suction problems at the unit. Either that are there is a problem with the motor, does it sound alright when running? If not, take it to a beam repair shop, with proof of purchase, the motor would be under warranty for the part only, not labor. The filter bag is not covered by warranty.
