Go the website of HP, chose for the support and drivers - lookout for drivers and software - enter your product name i.e HP Proliant ML350 5G Server and click on search.
You will get the list, select your product. Select the operating system you are using on your server - then choose the driver type - click suitable, from the list of drivers and download it.

Hello,

How big if your environment? How many users? Do you have remote access needs? If your environment is under 75 users then you might want to consider moving to Windows Small Business Server. It's a great little package that includes Exchange with it. You can also get the premium edition which includes Sharepoint.

Don't forget licensing needs during this whole process too. You want to make sure you are covered properly with software licenses from Microsoft when making the migration.

The hardware specs seem adequate but it will depend on the amount of users in your environment and workload for it.

I've included three links to different options for migration:

This link is pretty good to explain using the Microsoft tool.

http://www.petri.co.il/active_directory_migration_tool_usage_w2k_windows_2003.htm

This link provides info on the swing migration which is a bit more popular in the small business arena. Works pretty good. I've done it a few times.
http://www.sbsmigration.com/pages/14/

This link is for Acronis products that allow for easy ghosting or copying of data from one server to another. The good thing about this tool is that your SIDs are kept the same. So I don't know if its a big deal (depends on your environment size) but it can be a pain to rejoin workstations to a domain if new servers are added without successfully moving necessary settings. I've used this tool a few times. It's quick and easy.

I look forward to hearing more from you. Please update me on the questions I asked and if I can help further I will be glad too. Don't forget to rate the solutions once we're done! Thanks.

It sounds like you are trying to install software that was made for a more recent edition of windows. You need to get the version for your OS.

SOURCE: I INSTAL WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL

Because you are installing a desktop operating system onto server hardware there are logically no drivers available for the system hardware.

Lan card driver for server 2008

Hello the drivers are here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=3279705&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=316537&taskId=135

Select sever 2003 and select network.

But here is only drivers for server 2003.

The driver will probably work fine if it is a 32 bit system.

Good luck

FROM WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD WINDOWS XP SP2 LAN DRIVER FOR HP PROLIANT ML110 G6

Hi ppswalia

Since this is a Server, rather than an ordinary Desktop computer, it is not designed to work with normal Windows XP Operating Systems. It is designed to work specifically with Windows, Unix and Linux Server Applications. See here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=3577715&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3577708

There are 2 things you can try.

You can try installing the LAN/Ethernet Drivers for the various Windows Server versions from the above official HP Downloads and Drivers Support Website and see if one of them just happens to coincidentally be compatible with XP SP2.

Assuming there are no further compatibility issues between other Server Motherboard Devices and Win XP SP2 Drivers, you could open the Server case and either bypass any on-board LAN/Ethernet/NIC Port or remove any separate LAN/Ethernet/Network Card installed and install, instead, a pre-confirmed Win XP compatible LAN/Ethernet/NIC Card and then install the drivers for the new card.

I hope this helps.

I need to download the network card driver for that compaq proliant server

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=257770&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=254843&lang=en&cc=us

Then pick your OS and grab the network driver that you need. I see it says it's for the Proliant CL1850 server, but that was the only 1850 model that seemed to show up so I'm going to guess it'll work.

Problem with LAN connection

Try re-installing the driver for your network adapter... Even take out the NIC, uninstall the driver, restart it with the adapter in and re-install the driver
