You may wish to have Avery Dennison, the folks that purchased Monarch/Paxar, to service your printer.

Their phone number is 1-800-543-6650 and ask them the correct address for service. Your bands may be getting too loose, and need to be replaced. If it is something that they can instruct you to take care of, they can sell you the bands and provide instruction.

Hi bruce_woodwa,

Please check if the thermal labels are installed correctly. If you're using a DT mode make sure the drives is setup correctly.

Please follow the steps below on how to install printer labels.

1. Open the printer by applying pressure to the release levers located on the sides of the printer, towards that front. Remove any test bar code labels if present.

2. Move the left media hanger to the side.

3. Position the media roll so that the printing surface faces up as it exits the printer. Place the roll between the hangers and the release the left media hanger to hold the core. Remove the first 2 to 3 labels from the roll.

4. Make sure that the roll is resting on the hangers and that the roll turn freely. The roll must not sit in the bottom of the media compartment.

5. Close the printer cover. Connect the power cord to the printer first and then to the power source ( wall outlet ). Ensure that the labels are installed correctly.

Office depot od101 pricing gun

OD101 is the only identifier on this gun. Along with the Office Depot logo. I spent all day trying to load my friend's and figured it out. Load the roll of stickers, there are two pads that squeeze on the center of the roll that were rather annoying to try to compress. With the gun laying on the table and the model number (right side when holding properly by handle) facing up, the labels will unspool from the top when the roll turns clockwise.
On the bottom section of the gun there is a metal roller near the model number, run the end of the roll over this and down towards the trigger. Place the end in the opening under the white roller. It will only advance a short distance, when this happens squeeze the trigger so the gun grabs the end of the stickers. Close gun and use.

Can not reload lables in the gun

Depending on the type of gun that you have, loading will vary. Here is the most common style of label loading:
Loading
  • At the back of the pricing gun, there's an opening with two spindles to hold a roll of labels. There's also a slot and two small, black rollers, where you'll place the first label to begin feeding them into the gun.

Insert a roll of labels into the gun opening so that the beginning of the roll is at the back and comes up over the top of the gun. Insert the beginning of the roll into the slot, squeezing the trigger halfway. Push the labels through the gun until they come out at the front. Thread the labels up and under the black plate on the front of the gun and then under the rubber roller. Squeeze the trigger again and pull six or seven labels out. Discard the labels, leaving the paper backing. Thread the paper backing into the underside of the gun, next to the handle, in the direction indicated by the arrow. Push the paper backing while squeezing the trigger until the gun begins dispensing labels.ixzz18ERFHy

How do I load labels in monarch 1100 price gun

      Printing
    1. If the print on the labels is off-center, place a penny in the slot on the right side of the gun and hold it in place. Using another penny, turn the adjuster on the left side of the gun in a clockwise direction, printing test labels to check your correction. Keep turning the adjuster until the print is centered.

To replace the ink cartridge, turn the latch on the right side of the gun to an upright position. Pull the door out. The ink roller is on the end of the door in a plastic holder. Push the holder apart slightly to remove the old ink roller and insert a new one. Replace the door and turn the latch to hold it in place.
