Question about HP Business InkJet 2800 Printer
I recently purchased a used HP Business Jet 2800 printer. After installation it displays on the printer message center either "carriage stall" or "print motor stall" press resume to continue. Pressing resume does not solve the problem. It further suggests turning the printer off if resume doesn't work, but this doesn't solve the problem either.
"Carriage Stall or Jam" by Stephen
Clean encoder strip with clean water, clean rod with denatured alchol you can get at Home Depot and lube with Synthetic Lubricant that you can purchase at a gun shop for about $4.

I already fix this problem after a long time
the problem in the WHITE mechanism located at the left side of the printer, under the carriage, and at the end of the steel plate under the carriage.
this mechanism have to be in a free movement (backward and forward not left and right)
you just push this mechanism by your finger forward and you will lose it from its stuck location

Maybe there is a problem in your service station. main cause of that is the ink that spill on the area on the service station stockup
