the buzzing sound is an symptom or indication that there is a defect on the output audio system from your unit. A good audio system does not give out a buzzing sound.
Check for shorted audio wire coming from your audio unit going to the speakers
if its the speakers replace them buy two new speakers...to check and see if its your speakers that are bad get a 1.5 volts battery take two wires attached them negative to positive from the battery to the speakers if you get a scratching sound then your speaker is good if you dont get any scratching sound then your speaker is bad...next step if your speaker is good and you are not getting any sound then your tv has a problem in the audio section....the audio section is where the two wires from the speaker is attached onto.. there is a ic 406 which is the audio amp and two other transistor replace them.good luck.
Hi,There are three cause of no sound, ethier the problem is in the speaker, sound driver or output and from the audio setting.First is check the setting, that you already done that what you sad.Now check the speaker if good or not,Use analog or digital tester to check the speaker if good or not or test the speaker to the other amplifier to identify if good or not.If the speaker is deffective replace it and if the speaker is good the problem is in the sound driver.Maybe the sound output ic is deffective or no supply.Thats why it is needed to troubleshoot and repair the sound circuit section of your television. Thanks
There are two possibilites for this fault. The first one is, damaged speaker voice coil and the second one is damaged audio output IC. To confirm it you have to open your TV. Speakers can be checked without removing them from the cabin fittings. Check them with the helap of a multimeter; set in OHms range. You can alos check it with a standard torch cell also. Connect the two terminals of the torch cell to the two terminals of the speaker [intermittantly, not constantly]; will produce a 'thumb' sound; if the speaker is good.
Connect the 'audio out socket' of the tv, with any other audio equipment, and listen whether there is sound form the external audio equipment, like amplifier or so. If there is sound from the external audio equipment, and no sound from the internal speaker of the TV, and the speaker is good, surely the 'audio output IC' of the TV is damged and should be replaced. OK.
if you buy a 5.1 speaker you also need 5.1 sound card that supports the speakers. although it will still work with ordinary sound card but you can't actually use the feature of the speakers. the buzzing sound can cause by loose connections of the audio cable or audio connector. you can also hear a buzzing sound if you connect it at the wrong port. just remember the color codes
green - audio out (for speakers)
red - microphone
blue - line in or audio in
black - digital audio
Assuming its a PC:- The problem may be due to the audio part. Try different music files or sound sources.
- If the problem persists, on a windows system, go to Control Panel>Sounds and check & control the settings there.
- If continues, try a headphone/earphone. If the audio is still not good on different audio sources, try reinstalling the sound drivers. If the audio is good, check the cabling and connections of the speakers (between speakers and PC, between two speakers and the power line)
- If after all, the audio is still bad ( and headphone sound is good), the speakers have a malfunction. Try the nearest computer fixing service.
control panel sounds and audio, audio make necessary adjustments there or control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager, sound, could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers good luck
