Question about IBM ThinkPad T42p PC Notebook

I went to the Accessibility Options and turned off Sticky Keys and even rebooted but it didn't take of the problem. I even tried to press the Numlock key to no avail.I'm really stumped. Can you help? I'm writing from my MAC......
