Does the Frigidaire FAC 126P1A need to be vented?

We need to know if outside venting is required for this Frigidaire air conditioner?  If it is required can the venting area be somewhat reduced? We want to install it in an Arizona home garage to bring the temperature down to around 80 degrees in the summer months.  We have no area which has a non-load bearing wall.  So if it has to be vented then we need to reduce the vent area to the outside.

There is not enough room to structurely place it in the wall!  That's why I needed to know if it could operate in a smaller venting space.

It must be installed in a window openeing or through the wall.
A load bearing wall is no problem.
Cutout the opening larger than the unit and install a header in the wall cutout.

Where is the drain pan drain hole on the bottom of the Fridgidaire FAC 127S1A air conditioner?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know where the drain hole is on your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC127S1A. I see that the drain seems to be blocked, as water is collecting in the drain pan, instead of draining. The drain hole is located beneath the compressor. You might want to try tilting your air conditioner slightly to the outside, to allow better water drainage. Hope this is helpful.

I have a frigidaire fac105p1a that is spiting water out though the vents what do i do about that?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you have water spitting out of the top vent on your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC105P1A. I also see that it sounds like water is gurgling through the pipes and you want to know how to fix it. If your air conditioner is also leaking outside, this is normal during excessively humid days, due to it removing large quantities of moisture from a humid room. If it is also dripping inside, I suggest slightly tilting your air conditioner to the outside, to allow water drainage. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

How to I clean the blower vents on my fas257s2a window ac?

That unit appears to be pretty old. No manuals. I believe the outside cover will come off by prying around the edge and pulling towards you. Some have a foam type filter behind the grill that would need to be cleaned out as well

Frigidaire in wall air conditioner making noise fan/ motor?

Is it a clicking or banging sound? The fan is most likely not kicking up the moisture to cool the evap coil off enough in the unit so you might here more noise for a little while. Monitor it and let me know if anything changes.

Does the Frigidaire FAH106S1T Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner recycle inside air or pull in air from outside? Also, how do I close the vent on this model?

yes it does recycle the inside air - it 'does not' pull outside air in (in the air conditioning mode).
The 'exhaust/outside air' vent - 'if it has one' (some don't these days) will usually be a manual pull/push lever, although I guess it might be a electrical/electronic switch.
hope this has helped.

Hello, I need the hose to drain water outside that fits the fridgidair portable air conditioner #FAPO9EP1Z1. Is there another small tube or is there any other hoses or vents that I need? I don't see...

impreston - with out the following parts , you really don't have "just the air conditioner."

1- Flexible Exhaust Hose
2- Hose Adapters
1- Sliding Window Kit
1-Foam Window Seal
1-Remote Control

The drain hose is something you supply. A garden hose, no longer than 5 feet will do if you want it to be a continusos drain, rather than drain into the water collectiong bucket. But, without the first 4 items lister above, you won't be able to operate the unit.

Here is a link that may be of some help to you, since you don't have an Owner's Manual.

You will beed to contact Frigidaire (1 -800-374-4432 ) for the parts you're missing.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Which setting of the vent gives you the coldest air?? I see fesh air or vent?

Thank you for choosing FixYa. The vent setting is for getting air from the outside. The Fresh Air setting takes the air from inside and turns it into, you guessed it, fresh air! Hope this helps :)
P.S. Choose fresh air.

I have Boston Inovation portable air conditioner....I has a heater on it to...I am just wondering if I need to vent it out of the window to use the heater the same way as I do to use the A/C?

No. It's vented to the outside when used to cool (A/C) to remove the heat from the room. Using it as a heater does not require venting.

Stand up airconditioner

To your question the answer is YES, generally vented to the outdoors through a window. Generally speaking there are two hose connections for cooling the refrigeration end of the A/C. one should supply cool air from outside and the other should discharge the hot air outside. If not vented to the outdoors your build heat instead of cooling.
