Question about GE GSH25JFR Side by Side Refrigerator
I've recently encountered a problem with the ice maker. There doesn't appear to be any water but yet water is still available from the door unit.
There is a dual water valve located on back of refrigerator. One side is for ice maker while the other side is for water dispenser. Sometimes they go bad and just one side works. Also there is a thermostat inside ice maker along with micro-switch's, sometimes they stick or go bad. First I would test the coil on the back with ohm meter or applying 120 volts to the coil to manually to open it. If coil opens then we need to look inside for why the ice maker is not filling. Find your complete model number and I may be able to help you better, Thanks, Sea Breeze
