If there is no power from the timer and other functions work. The timer is your problem.
Your model number does not come up on GE service or any other of my sources.

Not funny Cindy - Any chance you can access the power breaker in the panel for the dishwasher? Sometimes with even short power bumps or outages, electronic controls get out of whack - Leave the breaker off for a minute and then turn it back on - As for the water level, I would question if the hookup was done entirely correctly - The idea is for the drain to connect to the most clear point of the sink drain - if you drain came with a pre-made Dishwasher drain connection, did the installer make sure that the plug was fully removed before connecting - Even in my mobile dishwasher I might get an inch of water, but not what you are experiencing - Good Luck

Failure Code > Condition : Check/Repair
  • 1E Water inlet problem > Condition : Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 minute water supply. Water supply problem. The inlet hose is kinked. The water pressure is to low (10psi) Inlet valve. The inlet water valve filter is clogged. The hall sensor. The impeller of Air guide is bound. Remedy : Check resistance of inlet valve ( 950-1300ohms) Clean valve. Check pressure. Replace the Air braker.

My Asko dishwasher # D3531XL is leaving debris on dishes. the water is getting hot. I learned how to codes out of it but I don't understand them. Here's what I got: Valve: 001 Circ: 4.75V Heat:...

Hi,
How does the unit drain? From the unit, you need a high back loop behind the tank also under the sink as well. If connected to the garbage disposal directly, once the drain hose leaves the garbage disposal it need to go up to the top of the sink to prevent back flow. Also is connected to an air gap make sure the hoses are clear. If all this is fine, it means the unit is not removing all the water or food is being bought in to the tank when loading.
The dishwasher can only do so much, clean all filters inside, make sure unit is draining completely (very important).
I hope this helps, this unit has a time drain system, if the flow of water during drain is restricted, you will have dirty dishes when done.

F1 code appeared during wash cycle..

The Ever- So- Helpful Diagnostics Mode -----
Getting into the Diagnostics Mode:
Press the LOCK and START / PAUSE buttons simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds.
The unit will beep once
Press the POWER button once, and you are now in diagnostics mode.
Pressing the START / PAUSE button sequentially advances the machine through the various functions you will want to test.
Start and stop each function by pressing the LOCK button.
A strong word or caution: DO NOT ENERGISE THE HEATER PLATE function (ER) without water in the tub or the heater will burn out.
The tech sheet containing all fault codes, test values, and a schematic is located behind the lower drawer at the back wall.
Exit diagnostics by pressing power off.

Q: F1 ERROR. The unit is beeping, both drawers are flashing F1 and won't stop running.
A: Your appliance has experienced the ubiquitous F1 flood error. The only way to stop the beeping is to remove power. Your course of action depends on the next step. You need to look BEHIND the lower unit drawer. Remove power, then open the lower drawer all the way, and press those plastic tabs (down at the sides, along the bottom and just below the round buttons)- inwards. Now slide the drawer out a couple inches more. You can now see behind the drawer.
Is there water in the catch pan? If no, the Mains Filter Board beneath that plastic cover in the back is bad. It thinks it's flooded while in fact it is not. Replace it. (PN 525959P) It is also remotely possible that one of the wiring harness is faulty.
If there IS water back there, you need to find where it's coming from. Usually, the fill (PN 526836) and drain hoses (PN 527137) are NOT at fault. Go into Diagnostics Mode, and operate the water fill valve (FV), and look for leaks at the valve and along the fill hose as the tub fills.
(You'll want to remove that large plastic cover in the back to see the valves and hoses coming from them. Lift the drawer off its rails and set it off to the left if there's space for it. Upper drawer, set it on top of the bottom drawer).
Operate the drain pump (P2) and look for leaks in the drain line. If no water is seen leaking from those sources, go on to the Lid Motors and the Link Supports.
First inspect the link support (that white plastic rod that spans the tub service lines). They typically snap in two at the mid span point. If it's snapped, there's your problem. Replace it with the updated link support. (PN 528437) Also run the Lid Motors (LD). As they transition up and down, do they respond strongly, or do they sound weak and labored? If the motors are in a white plastic case, you have the old motors and they will need replacing soon anyway. When they grow weak their ability to pull the seal down strongly is diminished (PN's 528112 Top, and 528113 Bottom)
Should you get an F1 error code on the TOP UNIT ONLY, it means that the LOWER UNIT has experienced some failure in the Water Heating Circuit. You will need to test those components to detect what has failed. Get out the trusty schematic and your multimeter!

Error code LE

Hi there,
If you are getting a "water inlet" error "IE" I found out thru trial and error that my inlet valve(s) were messed up. On my particular machine you can put the machine in trouble-shooting mode by pressing the "Spin Speed" and the "Soil Levels" at the same time and press the "Power" button while doing that. Then advance thru all the functions by pressing the "Start button"
1 time; Tumbles clockwise,
2 times Low level spin,
3 times; High speed spin,
4 times Inlet valve for prewash,
5 times; Inlet valve for main wash,
6 times, Inlet valve for Hot water,
7 times: Inlet valve for softner,
8 times; inlet valve for bleach,
9 times; tumble counter-clockwise,
10 times; turns Heater on (if equipped)
11 times; circulation pump,
12 times; drain pump,
13 times; power off and unlocks the door

Good Luck!!!

LG Dishwasher LDS5811ST 1E error code

I had a LG certified repairman come out and fix. The electrical wires within the door were melted into the "tar" (sound deafening spray) and one wire actualy sheered. Apparently the drying cycle heats the tar and the wires become embeded and melt into the tar. This is what was causing the error code. After the wire was tested and spliced everything worked great. Long term...The door/electrical harness was replaced by LG.

Wont drain!!!

Check first the drain lines and the drain pump.

If the drain pump is working, and there is no problem in there, then the problem is usually because the water level switch activated by the floating sensor is stuck.

You probably need to have the water level switch replaced.

You can find parts on websites below:

There should be a thermal fuse located inside the console on the control board. Most dishwashers have them mounted this way. It's a white square plastic piece, or silver component with two wires connected to it. If the thermal fuse is bad it will give the same symptoms you are describing. To check, you need to turn off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher and remove the screws holding the console in place. This should be the four or five screws at the top of the door (with the door open). Carefully lift the console off the door (support the wires) and flip it over so you can see the control board. The thermal fuse should be mounted somewhere on the control board. The fuse will read a SHORT if good, an OPEN if bad. The fuse is not resettable (meaning you can't reuse it) and must be replaced. If you need further assistance let me know. I hope this helps you. PS There should be a tech sheet located inside the lower kick panel under the door. This includes all the schematics and troubleshooting tips. You may use this as a reference too.
