Check for dialing tone by pressing 'Talk On' phone button. If no tone, check cord at base station and the phone socket is correctly plugged in at both ends using the original cord supplied. If still no dial tone, check the phone at another phone connection to establish if either the phone or the line is faulty. Mute a Call:
You can talk to someone nearby without letting the caller hear you during a call. During a call: Press <C> t o mute the microphone and "MUTED" will display on the LCD.
Your caller cannot hear you. Press <C> again to unmute the microphone.

Press and hold C until day of the week is announced. It will say Monday. If you don't want monday use annc/skip to go to the next day. When you get to the day you want hit set. This will save that day of the week for you. Then it will annouce hour, select the hour by doing the same thing and after you have the hour press the set button. Do this for the minutes too. Lastly is the year, if you've went to 2027 and it won't loop back to 2007 say, you can usually unplug it and it will reset the year back to the factory setting.
