Power issues with panasonic tc32lx70

I have seen a few posts in regards to the same issue others have had with the unit not turning on..just the power light blinking. The only fix we have is to unplug the tv and then plug it back in. This happens every few days and the wife is thoroughly annoyed.

Has anyone been able to fix this and how much did it cost?

I have the same problem. Every few days the TV kicks out and has to be reset by unplugging it. Does anyone have a solution?

You need to go to Panasonic dot com search for TC-32LX70, go to software updates. Use a blank SD card and format it save the firmware file SDDL.SEC to it. Carefully open the "service panel" you may need to remove the entire back case? since it seems the frame is holding the service panel down. 1)power on the TV
2)insert the SDcard with firmware update into the rear(lx70) or the sdcard slot on the side(lx700)
3)follow the on-screen instructions.
4)when it's finished, remove the SD card.
turn off or unplug for 30+ seconds
then plug it back in.
5)power on.
6) perform the first time setup.

Panasonic bdt210 no sound

you will know if hook to another set but I in our shop have seen similar issues where either a cable or sat box had to be rebooted or even a software upgrade done to the set.

HDMI has mostly sound issues--my experience is it also does NOT like to be connected to units which are on at the time.......

Just today i turn my tv on and find a purple line in the middle of my 50 in plasma tv itis panasonic why iam having this problem tv is only 3 years old

It sounds like a board issue. For the sake of argument, unplug the set from it's power outlet and let it set for a couple hours. It will completely discharge and reboot/reset to factory default. It may or may not help, but it's worth a try. Not a very common problem in a Panasonic set! I have installed thousands of them over the past 15 years and have only sent a few out for a real issue other than a power spike, which can kill any set. Check with for support and a local service center, give them a call for a "best guess" est. Most shops will do a complete workup of a TV for 75-100 and if service is required, apply it to the repair. Hope this helps.

My TV just started turning off and on, and won't stop.

I don't have solution but log the issue with Samsung. I asked them if they had fix for issue like they did for other models and they said that they didn't have reports of this issue. I have seen other post of this issue too where they fix the problem by replacing one or more of the capacitor. I'm just too scared to try that myself.

Bose lifestyle 25 system and Panasonic Plasma Tv not working together

I posted the message as Tet Tet before. I can now tell you that I have resolved the problem. The issue is with the Panasonic 50Inch TV. Some people reported the same problem but only when the TV was up on the wall. It turns out that the problem lies with the metal discs which screw on at the back of the TV to enable you to hand the TV on the wall bracket. In my case I had excessive interference caused at the back of the TV (could be the fan). When I put the TV on the wall bracket the metal discs would be in contact with the wall bracket which in turn was acting as an antenna causing the iterference to the bose remote which operates at a frequency of 27.45MHz. You can solve the issue by adding some insulating tape around all the metal discs avoiding them to make contact with the wall bracket. If that fails Panasonic will swap your TV for another one like they did with me. I can now enjoy my Bose System with the 50 inch Panasonic TV. It took me three months but managed to get a solution. I hope this helps. For further info you can mail me at These discs should be made of metal because they are perforating the metal screen at the back of the TV. Panasonic please change this design.
