SOURCE: Brother fax 2920 error message displaying

When you drop the rear panel you can see a black panel with temperature warning labels etc on it, in the centre of that panel there is a black finger pointing up, make sure that is free to move back and forth but dont touch the rollers behind it!!! Sometimes the finger and its arm can become jammed after a paper removal.

Brother Intellifax 4100 error message 7C - unplug and call Brother

7C indicates a Engine PCB error.

PCB=Printed Circuit Board.

This is a service error and will need a technician to replace / repair the PCB.

Brother Fax-1030 plain paper sending constant 'check paper' error

I got this error when I put the paper in without pulling forward the flap that hold the paper. It seems that the action of returning the flap to it's closed position sets the paper in the correct way.
I'd give that a try.

It could be either. take the machine to anothewr line see if the
error goes away.If it does not call brother customer service. There is an adjustment for input sensitivity of so brother fax machines. It may be in your operators manual
