Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I'm installing a replacement cartridge in a Brother DCP-7040 (Innovera IVR-TN330) and I get a toner at end of life error. I re-install the brother cartridge and it operats normally. Any thoughts?
You have a bad toner cartridge or a poorly remanufactured toner cartridge. This condition called "false toner low".

If printer displays "Toner Life End" after installing new cartridge, open front cover, press 'Option' button, then key *00 on the keypad. This resets the device so it knows it has had a new cartridge.
this will reset toner counter on a lot of brother printers good luck
