The volume up key is not working on my corby

Turn the Corby 2 phone off. Press volume up button, menu and power button at the same time. Select wipe data factory reset using volume key. All data will be lost!

NOTE: By doing a Factory Reset you will lose ALL DATA on the device. I highly recommend to back up any data/contacts off the device before proceeding.

NOTE: Proceed at own risk.


To hard reset your Samsung S3850 phone: Enter *2767*3855#.

Or

Turn the Corby 2 phone off. Press volume up button, menu and power button at the same time. Select wipe data factory reset using volume key.

Go to settings-> phone profiles and tap on the [>>] icon next to the profile for which you want to make keypad silent (for eg:- normal). from the drop down menu at top right, select phone sounds. Scroll down till you see 'phone sound volume'. Reduce it to zero. Done!!

Main Menu Settings Sound Profile Find your selection (example "Normal") Hit the "OK" button Then there are three categories to choose from on this next screen (call, message, phone) use the left/right keys around the "OK" button to choose which one you want. Use the up/down keys around the "OK" button to modify the selection For example, use the right key to go to "Phone" and then the down key to make adjustments. Keep hitting the down key until the writing in the yellow menu says "volume" Hit "OK" From there you can adjust the volume
If you want to adjust call volume, highlight "call" with the left/right keys Use the down key to go in the yellow area and keep pressing the down key until you see "ringtone volume" then hit "OK" and it gives you an option to adjust ringtone volume

You can adjust the intensity of the vibration when you
tap the phone screen.
1. In Idle mode, press [up /down].
2. Select Vibration and adjust the intensity of the
vibration.

Adjusting the volume during a call Use [up navigation /down navigation ] to adjust the earpiece volume during a call. Press [up navigation ] to increase the volume level and [ down navigation] to decrease the volume level.

open the text message. And then press the key from which you increase & decrease your volume. this two keys are used to increase the font size.

Hi to adjust the volume of keypad tone you need to Adjust the volume of the key tones
In Idle mode, press [Up /Down ] to adjust the key tone
volume.

The Volume key allows you to adjust the volume level for the currently active audio device (handset, headset, or speaker). When no audio devices are active, pressing the Volume key adjusts the ringer volume.

Adjusting the Volume of the Ringer, Handset, Headset or Speaker
Note: By performing this function, default volume level will be replaced.

1. Press the up or down arrow at either end of the Volume key to reach the desired volume level.
   
   
   
2. When you are satisfied with the setting, press the Save softkey.

Note: When adjusting only the ringer volume, there is no need to press Save. The settings are automatically saved upon adjustment.
