Question about Sony VAIO GRV680P Notebook

Open Question

Sony Vaio PCG GRV680

Machine is dead. When I press start button, nothing happens! It's been running funny for a while now. Always started up though but didn't always initiate windows o/s. Now it's dead. I don't know what to do. It's an expensive 17" machine and I'm feeling really bad about throwing it out.

    Dear Blu3Demon,
It seems there is no power to machine. I don't know what else to say about it. I plug it into electricity and press start and nothing happens whatsoever. It's completely dead. Like other people have been reporting about the Sony Vaio - a very expensive paperweight. As I said before, recently it would power up but would not initiate the operating system windows xp, so I kept shutting it down by pressing the start button for five seconds and trying again. It would initiate the o/s usually only the first time each day; if I tried later in the day, it would power up but not initiate windows xp. I'm really looking for help; don't want to buy another computer since this one is really dynamite when it works. Thanks for your help.

also make sure your AC adapter is connecting with internal connection the internal connection can become loose or bent from constant plugging and unplugging
