Question about Lionel (31956) Thomas The Train Set
Keeps uncoupling from the cars as we increase the speed. Looks as if the spring on the engine is weak. Is there fix I can do to this? Or should I take it back?
Check the warranty. If still under, return it. Otherwise find a store that sells small black rubber bands, around 1/2" in diameter. Wrap one around the coupler behind the knuckle. Check to see if the coupler still opens. If it does move the rubber band either forward or backward until the coupler does not open.
