My tub has a hole in it and it has a 20 year warranty how do I get this resolved

Yes at 22 years old its going to break. Buy new. Tge tub is no longer available for that

Mirolin warranty is horrible. Immediately after install the tub leaked because of a defect in the tub's drain hole. Mirolin won't cover any damages caused. Had to pull our whole ceiling below and replace flooring.

There is no one that warrants something like that for that number of years unless it is expressly noted. The tub is listed as plastic and all associated parts are shown on the link.

Check your warranty. We just had that problem, with the exact same parts replaced, but the outer tub has a ten year warranty, and the basket a lifetime warranty. We just paid labor and for one belt. Our washer is also almost eight years old.

You have a bad rear bearing in the outer tub. The entire outer tub would need to be replaced to resolve this issue.
Check your owner's manual to see what kind of warranty you have on this part. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you as this is an expensive repair!

rear pulley nut is loose. tighten . if it has been loose for a while pulley may be warped and also tub bearing and spin basket could be bad. dont have your specific model # to know if in warranty . can go to wpl .com and check warranty with your model # or kenmore then go to sears.com . i would use another servicer we waive are service fee if you fix the washer we only charge 65.00 service call. im sure you can find a servicer with a lower service call. thats the highest ive ever heard they will charge you double what anyone else charges.worse case scenerio could be 300-400 dollars if tub, pulley , spin basket need to be replaced. but i say its worth you replacing pulley or checking nut any other repairs for this i would just replace unit. again check your warranty i think the spin basket has a 10-20 yr warranty.

it could be the boot seal, (rubber piece that joins the tub to the front panel). the boot can get a hole in it or it can pull away from the tub if the clamp loosens. if it is the front of the outer tub that is cracked the manufacture did warranty the tub for ten years prior to 2006. check your owners manual as that is what the company has to honor. they only cover the part not labor, and in the usa only. i hope this helps.

Just had the same problem 1 month ago. My Whirlpool Duet front load made that terrible noise. 2 of the 3 spider arms were cracked. I hade a new hole tub with the spider arm and the shaft , because it is 10 years limited waranty . But if it is not under waranty it costs about 270$ for that tub you can buy it from many appliance parts web sites on the net. Good luck, huge job to all remove that thing

Mine also started leaking. Element also too hot. Mine has a 20 year warrenty on the tub (which I was NOT aware of) Repairman came today and the whole tub unit and element will be fixed for free! Look in your whirlpool instruction book to see if yours is warrentied. BTW, my dishwasher is only three years old.
