Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
I formatted dell inspiron 1525 d drive. now i didnt take any backup from cd.i tried to make factory set . but i cant.
i pressed f8 and i gave repair options but it directly goes to vista ..please help me wat to do?
You will most likely have to contact Dell for your recovery CD's. Dell is usually really good about getting recovery disks to customers. All you have to do is let them know the nature of your problem. They may charge you if you are not under complete care warranty (or any warranty), but they will get you the CD's you need to fix this. You will need to reformat your machine. If you are under the complete care warranty, you could take the machine to any certified dell technician, and they could order you a new drive, free of charge.

Chances are that if you formated the d: partion that you destroyed the factory image restore. You will have to do a clean install of windows.
