Question about Computers & Internet
Normally, there is a reset button on the router itself which you can push with a pin or pencil. Then, you should be able to login utilizing the default password. For example, linksys router passwords are normally username = (leave blank) password = admin.

To reset password for your hp laptop you can try bootable HP System Recovery Disc to do factory reset without password. If you don't have system recovery disc then you can use Stellar Phoenix password recovery software to reset password. Once you are able to login with new password then you can easily factory reset your laptop.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.
if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings
hope this helps
