Hp officejet pro 8500 error messages

Error msg "code 0003" keeps coming up wanting me to shut down and re-start. Have done several times and went through the power re-set guidelines and that did not help.

Hi,
This seems to be Hardware issue. However we can give it a try.

Disconnect the power cord from back of the printer ( Do not turn off power ). Hold the Power and Cancel button and connect the cord and release the buttons after 2-3 seconds

Regards,
Sean

Press the settings button i.e the button with the wrench icon on the machine. Now select "Print Report" and then "Image on Fax Send" and set it to "ON". Save the settings and try again. It should work.
Let me know if you need further help. Good Luck.

I keep getting a printer jam error for the hp officejet 8500 wireless, no paper jam, have done everything HP suggests and still won't work. Can anyone suggest what to do other than buy a new printer?

Hi
This is a coomon problem with the printer the best thing to do is call HP and advise them of the issue. I recently had a customer who did this and even know it was out of warranty they replaced the printer.

Thanks
