SOURCE: My binsensor lingh is on but my bin is not full so my ice machine

I see you already said you bin sensor light was on. The drop door has a metal tab that waves over a sensor as it opens, if that part when it closes does not tell the board that door is shut the the board thinks the bin is full. I know you already know that but until I can talk to Scotsman on the phone or review their service manual for your model. One good thing about Scotsman is they are very helpful to their customers. Unless the machine is obsolete.

SOURCE: Ice maker (Uline) just stopped working, not freezing, no noise.

U-line does make compressors as long as its not a r12 system. As far as the icemachine turn breaker off for a couple of min then try it. If same results then it could be a board.

SOURCE: Scotsman ice machine(sce 275g)

The older cubers were opperated by a cube size thermostat. when the temp reached the cube size tstat setting it would energize a harvest timer motor and this timer would continue running through a holding switch on the timer. when the cam comes around and the micro switch drops the water is introduced (it would be warm) and the hot gas from the refrigerant would be introduced to the evaporator causing the cubes to drop. at the end of the cycle the cam pushes op in the holding switch and finally open it and because the cube size tstat is now warm the timer motor stops.
The timer had a white plastic stem with a 1/4" D shaft. It would only turn clockwise. Try looking for this and advancing it to see if your sol valve will open or get voltage to the valve.

Scotsman MDT5N40W-1H I was told it has high head pressure. how do I fix it

First you need to find out what is causing the high head presser. First check the filters make sure there clean. Next check the condenser coil to make sure it is not dirty. Next check the condenser fan to make sure it is not dropping out. if this is all good then you will have to look for a internal restriction rather it is a stopped up dryer to a bad TXV valve. this should be done by a refrigeration mechanic.

Replace the din full sensors this will let the ice machine start up if the sump tray dose not start to fill up with water look at board to see if water full light is on if so replace water sensor that is in water sump tray. if light is not on then check to see if you are getting power to water valve if you are getting voltage to valve then check water filter dose it need to be replaced. now never use any thing other than ice machine cleaner made for ice machines it has to be nickle safe are you will dammage the evaporator plate.

Not makeing ice

There could be over 50 things that will not let that machine make ice so help me out. when in freeze mode is compressor running, is condenser fan running, is water pump running, check condenser coil to make sure it's not full of dirt if so blow it out, cut machine off if water sump tray is full of water and you can still here water coming in at all check water flote to much water coming in all the time will not let water freeze. Fell evaporator plate while running if warm to touch could be hot gas valve letting hot gas in to plate in freeze cycle. you need to call a service company

Water in the ice compartment with ice. How do I drain?

There should be a 3/4" fitting and 3/4" pvc pipe either on the back or on the bottom. Sounds like it's stopped up. Try blowing out the drain line first, but blow from the machine not back into it.

The model for Scotsman ice maker is AFE400A-1B and it stop making ice. Can you help me diagnosis?

If your ice maker has stopped producing ice completely first unplug the ice maker and then check it in this order.
It may be turned off. Look for the wire along the right side of the ice maker that looks a bit like a coat hanger. If the wire is in the raised position, the ice maker is turned off. If so, try one of these:If your ice maker has a small red plastic lever, lower it to lower the wire.If there's no plastic lever, simply lower the wire.In either case, the ice maker should begin producing ice again. Also make sure that the temperature is 8 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. If the freezer is too warm, the ice maker won't cycle properly. The ice maker fill tube may be blocked with ice. If so, melt the blockage using a hair dryer-but be careful to not melt any plastic parts! Also replace the water shut-off valve or water-inlet valve, or both, if necessary. The ice maker head assembly may have broken parts. Look to see if the gears are broken. Check to see if the small plastic arms that rest against the ice rake are broken. If the ice maker head assembly is modular and you've found broken parts, you can just replace it.

I have a Scotsman AFE400A-1H flaked ice maker, that has started to produce "dirty ice". I have read that the unit has a in-line filter, how do I access the filter, to clean or replace it? ...

Shut it down and have a professional look at it immediately. I do not know of an inline filter and the knocking noise indicates something really bad happening inside of the evaporator / auger housing.
