Sounds like it's either a problem with the connector on the iPod or on the dock. To find our which see if it works okay on another dock - if you know anybody with one our text it on a demo model in a store. Or it could also be the plastic dock adapter - take our the adapter and try docking without the adapter.

Try updating to BIOS to version A16 from http://support.dell.com Ensure you are not attached to the docking station when flashing the BIOS. Once updated, connect the 90W adapter to the docking station, connect your laptop to the dock, and power on using the docking station power button.

Loud buzzing when I insert a tape in my car's stereo

Hiya, first try a normal cassette, see if that plays OK. If so the deck is probably fine, if not then the deck is faulty (probably not serious though and just a loose wire on the head).
If the connection between the tape and MP3 is a cable, the fault is quite likely there (if bluetooth then not). I strongly suspect the cable from the previous issues also.

Best of luck

Stiletto 2 ''buzzes'' when car is running

You have an impedance issue. Typically this happens when you are using the fm transmitter and the interferrence is being introduced from your cars' electrical system. You can fix it cheaply by using a cassette adapter or direct auxiliary connection.
