Is it possible to set up a wireless network using my ADSL router so my main computer can be configured as a server with the other 3 or 4 computers able to see a comon drive?
I use a network at work but I'm new to the nuts & bolts.
Thanks,
Tom

- Thanks,
Now that I know I don't need any more hardware I'v got some 'dummy' books comming.
If your adsl router is with wireless option you can do it.Otherwise you have to purchase adsl to wireless instrument (a lot of vendors having) .After networking you can share a common drive to see in all computers

My ML110 G4 powers down automatically. We have checked all the usual culprits for power management to no avail. Someone has suggested that it is because it is not set up as a domain controller, which I dont understand as we are not hosting on this server. The server is simply used, or will be when I sort this out, to network 4 workstations and allow file sharing. At the moment the server is not part of the network and is shutting down from the desktop with no app running.
