Radio0 and radio1 "not installed" problem on Cisco 1131AG

I have (2) Cisco 1131AG access points (1 LAP and 1 AP verisions) When I open the web GUI to enable the radios, both radio0 and radio1 options on the menu are grayed out and it says that they are not installed. Does this mean the radios are dead? Or is there a way to "install the radios" I have tried to load various versions of the IOS 12.4 and 12.3 to get it to work but they all have the same issue ..."radios not installed"

Check that you have enough power on the PoE to power up both radios. Switch one off for clarity and see if 1 powers up. Also check the log of the AP and the PoE switch as it will report the power related issue if it is a pre- PoE approved switch

Can I hook a 1131ag LWAP directly to a 7941g?

If the 7941g is the cisco cp-7941g ip phone then no you can not since the ip phone only has ethernet connections and the airap1131agak has only wireless connections on it as it is a wireless access point, so you will need a wireless router or something similar to get the wireless to ethernet cable.

Cisco 1242ag broadcast multi SSID issue

It stops broadcasting the SSID? Make sure it's configured to broadcast the SSID firstly... secondly, test whether it is actually working but just not broadcasting the SSID.

Set a client PC to the same SSID and get all the parameters identical (encryption, user/pass etc). Try connecting again. If it connects then it's just the SSID that isn't working... if there is no joy, then it is just the SSID that isn't broadcasting, not the whole AP.

Also, enable some debugging for the radio0 while it is not working. It might shed some light.

Configure cisco aironet wifi

if ur using IOS autonomous AP, then u'll need to configure the bvi interface to get an ip address and then enable the interface. once it has an ip, u'll need to configure the ssid, vlan, etc - choices include doing so with the CLI or web page GUI. U'll need to enable the built-in web server then u can access it via the web interface to setup the ssid, any vlans, radius, etc. good luck.
