Question about Dell Inspiron 530s Desktop Computer
My Dell Inspiron 530S was heavily infected with viruses and we were forced to erase the hard drive and reinstall Windows XP and Drivers. After loading everything from the discs received with the computer, we still have no internet connection. Device manager shows questions marks by the Ethernet, USB, etc. devices. I was told there might be someplace on line I could download the appropriate drivers to fix the problem.
Sounds like you need a driver disk for your motherboard, this usually will load and install the devices you are referring to. This may not have been included with a pre-loaded computer. Search on the Dell website or get the make and model of your motherboard and search on a computer with internet access for the appropriate drivers. This may solve your problem but if it doesn't then we can go from there. Sometimes these come on a floppy but with newer systems they are on a disc.

Note : If the device manager still shows bangs after installing drivers from the website. The operating system would have to reinstalled again
