Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer
I'm this close to burning this washing machine. It has been nothing but a headache from the day I bought it. I have replaced the balancing springs 3 times, due to problems with that. This is the third time I've had the SD error, the first time a WHOLE dishcloth got under the basket. The second time a washer was blocking the drain whole. This time, I can find NOTHING blocking it. The basket is engaging, I used HE detergent, trying different cycles doesn't clear it. Hoses are clear. Not a lot of water in the tub either.

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:
1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.
If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I suspect that it is the conditioner/softener tray which is causing water to 'overflow' into the other parts and needs a thorough clean! Here are my general guidance notes-
Remove the complete drawer. To do this you will have to do one of the following-
(I am having to guess some of the following!)
Once out identify which tray is for the conditioner- the others are simply 'chutes' and open-ended.
It will normally have some sort of cover over it which you must remove to expose the little stuck up pipe/tube. On some models there is just a small individual cap over the tube. The tube is down which the conditioner and water should siphon. It is likely to be blocked by 'gunge'- a mix of powder and conditioner. The whole of the tray, particularly this pipe and the bit which fits over it, must be completely clean and clear for it to operate correctly. It is worthwhile checking fairly regularly.
I hope this is your problem and solution!

may perform an automatic diagnostic test to check the machine functions and view any saved fault codes.
Fault codes may also appear during the test when a problem is detected. Be
sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off,
or with only the Clothes Clean or Done indicator on). Select any one
button (except POWER, START, and STOP) and follow the steps below, using
the same button (remember the button):
If this test mode has been entered successfully, all indicators on the console are illuminated for 5 seconds with 88 showing in the Estimated Time Remaining two-digit display. The program then automatically checks for saved fault codes. Record the fault codes and post it back.
Press the same button used above in activating the test to advance through the automatic test steps. The basket must be floating in order to agitate. Allow step C1 to complete before advancing to the other steps. Record any fault code shown during the tests and post it back including which step the code is displayed.
