Re: internet running slow
Your graphics card will not affect the speed of your internet connection, but may affect the rate of video playback from streaming or downloaded video. when your internet slows down it b/c wither your machine is being overworked or your connection is being flooded.
from my experience, when internet becomes slow, the computer has started taking longer to start up 90% of the time. If this is the case for you, where you have seen a decline in overall performance of your system, you have more than likely been infected by virus, spyware/adware, and have too many programs requesting resources.
press ctrl+alt+del, select the task manager and click the processes tab. then click on the column names "username" two times. this will list all the processes beginning with the ones that started after windows initially started.
if there are anout 20 of them or more than you have programs needlessly running in the background.
you must select all the programs that start automatically and go to the options menu and deselect the box that says "run on system startup"
then run a virus sweep. if you dont have virus, spy/adware, and firewall protection(all 3) then you must get them ASAP. they will save your computer from needing technically assistance as often.
free-avg.com has a great free version that is very easy to use and does most of the work for you

Hi Friend, You Computer and Graphics card all things is good configuration. Some tips you follow. A> If you PC virus infected then slow down you PC. B> RAM memory increase because high HD game not support or slow speed problem. C> Check you internet speed connection, because you are live game play. D> And finally not solved then you re-install windows and again all driver proper install. I hope solved you problem.
The most likely problem is that you are either, buffering from an internet feed (slow internet) or you are overloading the processor. The Pinball would indicate that your processor is too slow. Buy a new graphics card or more RAM. Also run CCleaner to get rid of any rubbish that is slowing down the computer.

The video card is not a problem when connecting to the Internet. What bothers me is the memory modules the you inserted, the processor speed, the hard drive space and your internet connection.
1. Kindly check the memory module if the specifications the same. (like are they both PC200 or PC3400, etc.)
2. Kindly check also your processor speed. If its 1.8Ghz, 2.8Ghz, or 3.0Ghz
3. The speed of your internet connection. Is it 1mb, 2mb.
4. Your Anti-Virus. Is it currently updated. Does is also provide Malware scanning, etc.
Kindly check all of this. Because for what I know, this are the factors that you cannot connect to the internet.
has it worked before, if not then you need to upgrade graphics card sometimes you need to upgrade your internet to. And possibly it could be that your computer runs to slow so you might need to upgrade the ram to. First try updating you computer by going to Internet explorer and the tools and then windows update, if your computer is fully update go to adobe and install the new adobe flash player and if that has been done and still not working go to java.com and install the new java after that if it still not works try upgrading the parts on the computer if that doesn't work well then your stuck entirely.
If you are a gamer, look up the system requirements at the game review or distributor's sites of the games you want to play. Don't get the minimum recommended video card, but buy the recommended or optimum card for the game. Usually newer nVidia or ATI cards are safe bets for a couple of years. Be sure to know what type of interface (plug-in slot) your computer has for the graphics card, PCIe, AGP, or the older PCI. Epinions.com is a good spot to check reviews and prices. Gamer forums often have advice, too.
Check to see if you have correct graphics driver installed- if you do its because your processor is slow OR your graphics card sucks. IF you are using an on-board graphics card (built into motherboard) you might consider upgrading it to a add-on graphics card.
How much RAM do you have? anything less than 1GB should be upgraded to atleast 1GB total RAM.
Last you also should run a general clean and remove ad/ware & spy/ware as well as go over start up programs that run in background- minimize the overhead your computer needs to just run to improve overall speed. (less programs running in background)
You can not use a PCI-E card. This mobo has one AGP slot and TWo PCI(not PCI-E) slots.
I am assuming you have a Dell Optiplex GX260?
It has the D845 series board. Goto Newegg.com and search for: AGP. They have a nice x1650pro agp card for cheap. I have the same board in one of my PC's
