I accidently dropped my camera and it landed on a soft carpet and the lens got stuck!. i sent it back to fuji film but they charged almost as much when i bought the camera. I would like to take it apart so i can fix it myself any suggestions?

You will not fix it, the mechanism is not usually fixable
If you take it apart ,you will then need the new camera.

I also dropped the cam on the lens! Locked up lens. I took the unit apart to discover an intense amount of micro-ciruits. Then I got a painful electric shock from the internal battery! Don't try it. I think I have ruined the camera further.
