DCS 366 Oven Sputters Continuously

My oven works just fine however, it has started making a rumbling/sputtering sound. The sound is pretty continuous. Any ideas? This model is gas.

SOURCE: hi, we have a dcs 366 gas range. the pilot light

You don't give the model number of your DCS range, but it probably doesn't have a pilot light.
More likely it uses and electronic igniter. Internet search on "gas oven ignitor". I think this
might help you with your problem.

SOURCE: DCS 4 burner plus griddle Range..oven doesn't heat

This happened to my DCS when the Hot Wire Relay went out. It isn't an expensive part, but finding someone that knows what needs to be replaced, and then can replace it is hard. My oven also did the opposite and continued to heat without shutting off, and it was once again the hot wire relay.

Give the repair man the opportunity to make the oven work instead of charging you for parts that probably did not need to be replaced.

My oven won't light.

Does it glow real bright like orange or just red. Because if it's not real bright orange, the ignighter could be bad. The oven will not light if the ignighter is not hot enough.

DCS gas oven and broiler that pulses

This sounds a lot like a defective pressure regulator. If you do not have one externally connected, then the internal regulator is faulty. If internal, it shouldn't be too difficult to DIY. Just make sure the pressure rating is the same as the one that has failed.

DCS 5 burner 30" oven makes loud noises as if starved for fuel

Hi; Is the oven run with LP or NAT gas. Sounds like a regulator problem not letting enough gas through. Also is this a comercial unit. If so when was the last time all burners and pilot orafices were cleaned out. The burner tubes have a air vent cut into the burner at the orafice. Make sure no debris have covered these airways. And lastly how old are the thermocouples and are they secure to the gas valves and have a good pilot flame on them...

How do I get the door back on my DCS 366? Overzealous cleaning dislodged the "hooks".

ther should be two dogs that slip out of position
they are on the oven
you will need to pull the door slide down,, slip a small nail in the hole do this on both sides
the slide the doo on
once you pull the pins out the dooor should be locked in place

Sounds like an built-in exhaust fan going bad. Bearings most likely.

Broiler not working, Oven OK

We have a DCS RG-366 SS L, a 36" gas range and the igniter went out. You could smell gas and the igniter would glow red - but no fire across the broiler.

There is a place in Michigan called RepairClinic.com. We bought a replacement igniter from them and it works like a charm. It was $53 (we live close by and didn't have to have it shipped).

The item number (from the invoice) is 1191 and the box the igniter came in looks like it is manufactured by FSP, code 082005, and there is a larger number on the box that says 786324 IGNTR-OVEN.

Hope this helps.
