Question about Xirlink Promax Webcam

About webcam i can veiw my webcam but cannot veiw people with it , whenever i try my pc go blank with a blue writing, it say something about BIOS then press f8 can u help me please.

Typically when this occurs and you get whats referred to as the blue screen of death, it is due to a bad driver. your best option is to go to the website that makes the webcam and download the latest version (make sure its for your operating system, installing the driver for the wrong operating system will also cause this)

if i knew the make/model of your webcam i would link the drivers for you :D

Boot not working

I want to veiw a webcam but they can't veiw mine


if the web cam is working, is not a probleme ;)

to see the icon in the screen go to disk C: / Programmes files / look for the webcam install folder / seek the programme lunchr / right click and select send to deesktop as a shortcut

Yahoo says "Sorry no webcma was found"


I suggest you to first check for fine working of the webcam by using the software which came along wid it. Try installing to a different location.

WHILE .INVITING SOME ONE TO VEIW MY WEBCAM..THE CAM ONLY STAYS ON ABOUT FOURTY SECONDS..THEN FREEZES UP..


check the internet the one your talking to and also your connection aswell. Having a chat using webcam when it were disconnected it freezes the display and need a reconnection for it. Try also reinstalling the driver of your webcam to your computer.

YOUR GONNA NEED TO REINSTALL OR DOWNLOAD A NEWER VERSION

you'll also need to set cam up for yahoo
Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
Next Calling and Devices on the right and
set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Next go to the Test Audio section and in blue writing click
on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions
on the left window.

Worked fine at home, but now we can't veiw at all


my suggestion is to uninstall the driver for web cam and reinstall. this. windows install wizard will help with this.make sure you still have the install cd that cam with the web cam.

Webcam does not work poperly in yahoo


If you try running it in Yahoo with many programs running it may not work. Try stopping your downloads!
