Sme vacuum cleaners have a natural smell, forvexample, mine smells like bacon while vacuuming.
the loud part...
it has sucked up something bg that blocks the ath of air, and by the time goes on it will be like a wistle, or will stop being loud as the thing moves out

If one attachment works ok, but another doesn't, then there must be a problem with the attachment and will have to be replaced.

SOURCE: bissell carpet shampooer

First check that the top cover on the back side hasn't come loose. Sometimes the plastic around the screws break away and the top starts to separate, raising the tank, and no spray. Make sure that the gaket is on the valve at the bottom of the tank and not sitting loose in the hole. Check the pump belt. The pump may be bad.

Liquid comes out of shampooer but it isn't sudsy. What could be wrong?

Check the Shampooer Tank seating. Turn the unit off and unplug. Remove the Shampooer Tank and inspect the reservoir for any foreign substance. Reseat tank. Replug and turn on unit. Remember to keep your filters clean. There's the lint filter on the cap of the main tank and there's the Flow Filter (Turn Flow Indicator Cap counter-clockwise to remove, remove rotor, and filter is under it. Clean and replace in reverse.) Bissell Consumer Care 1-800-237-7691 if you need. Additionally check you Use Guide for more information.
