Fungal infections can appear almost anywhere on the skin, but they are often most difficult for those who experience this issue somewhere on the face. Fungal skin infections on the face can occur in many different ways, but there are also a number of methods through which these conditions may be prevented and treated.

Yes, you are more prone to fungal infections because the antibiotic may kill the normal harmless bacteria that live and make it easier for fungi to flourish.

I have a sore left nostril, I have taken 2 lots of antibiotics but the soreness continues! Right up the top of my nostril and I am guilty of putting a hanky covered finger up there

hi maureen.
Some of the main causes of non-allergic rhinitis are described below. In many cases, rhinitis develops as the result of an infection attacking the lining of the nose and throat. This is usually a viral infection, such as a cold, but bacterial or fungal infections can also occasionally cause rhinitis..

What can i use to clean my belly button out?

Clean with soap and water, then dry. That should work well. If it has a white material you can get a yeast infection. Then try over the counter anti-fungal. A plain antibiotic ointment can be used if it's red, getting raw. There is also over the counter hydrocortisone cream for the itching if there is no drainage or open skin.

I have swollen, flaky lips and small cracks at the corners of my mouth. I have used a fungal cream, vaseline, and am now trying neosporin. What could be causing this and how do I get rid of it?

1st thing you need to do is wrap your face up nice and tight so no one else has to look at it and there's no chance of spreading it. then you need to sneak your tailend over to either your doctors office or the free clinic cause it sounds more like an antibiotic thing than it does a fungal thing.

How long does it take to treat with the antifungal medication?

The length of treatment depends on what type of fungal infection you have, how severe it is and if you have any other health problems - for example, problems with your immune system. Some courses of treatment can be as short as a few days; other courses can be a long as ten weeks (for example, fo ringworm infection of the scalp).
