Hi Dennis...
The easy way is to unplg the wires from the switch, remove the plastic ends of the wires and wire the two wires together, then tape with electrical tape and that will work for bypassing the seat switch

I have a Husqvarna HU 675 AWD 22 inch cut. It will not start, replaced the spark plug already. Need help

Hi Troy, the link below is a short YouTube video showing the right colour spark and it should spark over the top of the centre electrode...

Disable all lawnmower safety switches
But if it sparks then it's a fuel problem. You need to pull your carby off and unscrew the bottom half from the top, 1st sign of a needle stuck inside the seat is a dry carby There you'll find the float, push the float up and down and see if the needle above the float slides up and down from the seat, If the needle stays up then it's stuck and NOT letting the fuel into the carby, Just pull it down with your fingers to loosen it up..I hope this helps.... How to solve problem with releasing brake on zero turn husqvarna the engine dies not seat switch

This sounds like the seat switch. Keep in mind newer model seat switches cannot be jumped or disconnected.

ON MY HUSQVARNA TRACTOR MOWER,YTH150. WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE/CLUTCH IT CUTS OUT.

This sounds like the seat switch has either gone bad or is not connected properly. Remember you cannot jump over or avoid the seat switch. Check to insure the wiring is connected to the switch on the seat, if it is connected, I suggest replacing the switch.

Why does my husqvarna 2448 die when blade engages

I agree with Phil. The safety switch under the seat on my Husqvarna is very sensitive. Sometimes if I hit a large enough bump, it's enough to disengage the switch even with me on the seat.

How to disable the auto-safety switch on the seat

Remove the switch by turning 1/4 turn and use plastic wire tie to hold closed. (Switch is closed (run circuit completed) when plunger is down and simply unplugging it will not work.)

Usual warnings, use your head; it's there for a reason. People have been seriously injured due to not having functioning switch.

If you ever sell the tractor, reactivate it so new owner has safety, or he came come back after you for liability.

Want to disconnect the auto shut off when you get out of the seat

Warning: Not a safe idea to disable a safety switch.

If you really want to do it under the seat is a little round switch with two wires under it. If this switch is normally open then cut the wires and cap or use electrical tape to seal the ends. Then test to see if works. If not working then the switch is a normally shut and wires have to be stripped of the last inch of insulation and twisted together, capped and taped. Test to verify.

If really helpful, please rate.

How do I bypass my seat safety switch on my Husqvarna GTH2254 ride-on mower?

It's not a good idea. But if you must, it's just a switch. If it has two wires, cut them from the switch and connect them together with a wire nut. If it has only one wire, then cut it from the switch, put a spade terminal on it, and connect it to the frame of the tractor.
