You take the front wheel out then undo the top and bottom yoke pinch bolts,twist the forks downwards then undo the bolt in the centre at the bottom.then lift the dust seal out with a flat screwdriver and lift out the circuits you may need circling pliers.then pull the top and bottom of the fork apart quickly.it will separate.then change the seals and put it back together you need to install the new seal squarely and do not damage it.refill the oil by undoing the bolt at the top and pouring the fork oil in there.

Lifting a engine out of a 256c cat skidloader

check around the rear section and see if there is a way of removing the door/weights. Use a lift bar on another fork lift and chain the motor to that bar . Undo all the bell housing bolts and engine mounts and lift a bit and back the fork lift to get the motor out.

How far can the forks move from side to side?

the forks can generally move only 6-12 inches from side to side by using the 3rd lever. However, all modern trucks have forks that are easy to manually move. Just lift up the pin that is holding the fork in its groove, and put it in the groove where it will work best for what you're doing. don't forget to lock it again with the same pin

4 spoons and 3 forks cost $15. 4 spoons and 1 fork cost $13. Find the cost of five forks.

Hi romanam
If spoon is "s" and fork is "f"
you get 2 equations like:
4s + 3f = 15 equation 1
4s + 1f = 13 equation 2
Equation (1) - equation (2) gives :
2f = 2 which means
1f = 1 (dividing both sides by 2)
! fork costs $1
5 forks cost $5
