Question about Lenovo ThinkPad T61 Notebook
Small screen is fine and playing dvds in full screen isn't a problem either however,if I'm watching a video on youtube or streaming something and go full screen it immediately slows down or stops and doesn't have the capacity to play the video well at all, click back to small screen and everything is fine. How can I get full screen without this problem??

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get 2 Free calls (no credit card required) and instant help on almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, appliances, handyman, and even pets).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Sounds like video codecs problem.
There are to ways to go:
1. (The better in my opinion): forget Winamp and Windows media player, and use Smplayer instead, which uses it's own codecs (and better in all possible ways). You can download it from here.
2. If you'd like to stick with Winamp or Media player, then uninstall any video codecs (not drivers!) from your computer (if there's any), then download and install a proper codec pack, for example: K-lite codecpack (basic is enough) from here.
Hope this helps.

When the laptop is conected to the mains adapter and it shuts down for no reseason and you can boot up again after a period, it would indicate that you could have an overheating problem.
Check the fan to see if it spins freely and there are no dust clogging the fan and heatsink assemble, remove and vacuum the dust, if the fan is faulty, replace it.
