check the ethernet or usb lead connections make sure they are good with secure connections and you might have to reinstall the drivers

you will need to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled

If you are trying to connect through a modem/router the driver should have come with a disc provided by your ISP internet service provider or your motherboard disc

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question mark? right click install drivers

I have a dell dimension 5100 and think the intel pro/100 ve network controller has failed, as the computer can't hold a steady Internet connection for longer than 5 mins, I can fix it for 5 mins at a...


the driver might have become unstable or it might be a problem with the modem/router or the connections

if you give your ISP internet service provider they will be able to test it online let them no what has happened all details and do this when the connection has gone

How to enable lan of intel board lan is not installed showing


If you are using a windows XP as an OS...make you have loaded all your drivers inclucing the LAN. Secondly from the START go the control panel--network and internet connections--network connections--you'll see the LAN icon/s.Right click on it and select Enable/Disable.

WINDOWS DEFENDER
WINDOWS FIREWALL

THE LAST 2 PROGRAMS IN THE LIST ABOVE CAN STOP THE DEVICE FROM WORKING.

My WZC (windows zero configuration) keeps getting turned off


Open Control Panel
Right click on Wireless Network Connections and select properties
The Properties window should open, click on the Wireless Networks tab
Put a check in the box for "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings"
Click Ok

Network problem


make sure u r in same work group,remove and instal in other pci slot and try,check cable connections up to server ,instal a antivirus progarm and scan ,if u are adwanced user u can use dos mode antivirus programes
