SOURCE: oil drain plug

Drain plug is not necessary. Remove the dipstick and tip the mower to the side the dipstick is on and use the dipstick tube as a drain.

SOURCE: oil drain plug

may be under the blade plate under the mower, usually a plug with a quarter inch square drive, you can use a ratchet to loosen it if it is quarter drive, maybe a half inch drive

Weed eater 961380017 where is oil drain plug located?

On the Weed Eater 961380017 it uses a Rato engine and the mower is made by Husqvarna, it is the same as their U.S. model 5521P. To drain the oil you have to first remove the dip stick and then tilt the mower over to drain the oil out into a pan.

Look for a drain plug under the deck in the bottom of the engine (under the deck) known as the crankcase housing. Drain plugs come in different forms, but you will know it when you see it. IF there is no plug on the engine bottom, then check for a small plug on the side of the engine (above the deck) with a square head. That would be removed and the mower tilted that way to drain the oil. If no plug on the side of the engine then the oil will have to be drained out the oil filler tube. Remove the dipstick and tilt the mower that way to drain the oil.

Will fire but stops after a few seconds. Not always reaching full rpm. checked for breather hole in filler cap

I would first check the spark plug and air filter. If the air filter has grass or dirt packed in the folds of the paper element, replace it. Also if the spark plug has a black charcoal like substance on it, it will need brushed off. The spark plug can be removed with a 13/16 deep well socket. If the unit will still not start, there may be water in the fuel tank. Drain the fuel tank and empty the contents of the fuel bowl on the carburetor. The carburetor fuel bowl has a nut on the side of it, it can be loosened with a 10mm wrench. Let it drain out completely, tighten the nut on the fuel bowl, and add fresh fuel. If it will not start at this point you will need to have the engine serviced. This can be done at any Honda Power Equipment repair shop. They may not want to work on it since it is on a Husqvarna mower, most will tell you that the only thing that they will work on is the engine. Alternately you can take it to a Husqvarna dealer and get the mower serviced there.

Wheres the oil drain plug for model 7021 CH1

Most horizontal 4 stroke engines have them on the bottom next to the crank/output shaft that the blade rides on. Tip the mower on it's side and look under it. You should be able to see the bottom of the engine. If it's full of grass/dirt, brush it off. You should see the drain plug.

Husqvarna R53SV Petrol Mower wont start. I think too much oil had been put in. I drained some out bu still wont start. Is the engine flooded? how could i start it? Thanks

Use starting fluid when it does finally start continue starting until all the oil is cleared out of the carburator you may need to repeatedly choke out the carb with the engine running to clear out the carb, do this by removing the air cleaner, start the mower on high speed rpm, and cover the air intake with your hand repeating this start/ choke/ stall procedure until it is cleared out it works, I just did this to a mower last week that had too much oil in it, the mower smoked quite a bit but eventually returned to normal

Buy some starting fluid and spray some in the carb or air cleaner intake port, if the machine is flooding do not choke while using the starting fluid, make sure you do not have too much oil in the mowwer.

Can't find the oil drain plug on Troy Bilt with 5.5 Honda engine

You may want to look under the deck. They sometimes put them there. And if it is a self propelled, you will probably need to remove or loosen the plastic cover that protects the self propelled belt.

You are looking for a nickel sized plug that has a square peg. Use an extension piece for a socket set if you don't have the proper plug removal tool.
