I am trying to learn how to save jobs in the typewriter and need to know the which keys work with the "code" key more or less.

  • allison_s_le Mar 18, 2009

This was helpful, but I needed a little more detail of how the function keys worked while storing jobs in memory. I have been playing with it and I am learning a little more about it. Thanks for your help!

Your print solenoid probably has a broken cap. There are some companies that sell the "kit" with instructions on how to replace the cap.

try turning the machine off put a SMALL amount of oil on the large round rod running across the typewriter manually push the print head left and right a few times to see if it will loosen up. The problem is usually caused be drying oil you may consider having it serviced by a pro.
