Sv2000 - WV20V6 - how to troubleshoot error E 4 54037380

-   I am also having the exact same errors and issues with my DVD recorder! I don't have a Funai, instead I have the Magnavox DVD Recorder/VCR Model MWR 20V6 which based on my internet search is also made by Funai! I assume they are selling this defective unit throughout all their brands and product lines! This is in my opinion a very deceptive business practice and should not be tolerated!

It's interesting to learn that Funai also produces the Emerson line because I also have an Emerson DVD Recorder Model EWR10D4 and it is just as useless- I have wasted too many hours & too much money trying to get it to record on anything! I am outraged at Funai's business practice of deceiving its customers so you can sign me up... I'll fight along side you with a formal complaint!

-   These people also make the Emerson which also has a HUGE problem with the E 4 54037380 recording error. I am beginning to think we don't go to the CEO but rather the Attorney General's office of each state that these products are sold in. -   fightingback
