Question about Alpine CDA-9856 CD Player
Hi, just bought an alpine cda-9856r with the autoleads looms (pc99-x06 & pc99-alp) for the steering wheel controls with my astra mk4. It dont work after fitting all the leads except for VOL.UP & MUTE. The manual that came with the headunit badly describes a procedure to configure the controls with the headunit but i've tried to follow this but failed! Any ideas will be great! thanks

I needed a manua for my alpine cda-7897 and went to alpine's website and just type in my unit number under there manual section and there it was in a nice little pdf. file. hopes this helps.

I have the 9830 and my face plate flickers when the connections get dirty or loose. You almost have to push the face side to side and it comes back on. Its just a connection issue...common. Agreed cortrim1.
