I believe u have a variable valve timing sensor controlling your timing, COMPUTER CONTROLLED) If u are trying to adjust your timing , FORGET IT! Scan the ecm & ck ALL sensor readings that could affect your timing. Coolant temp, O2, VVT sensor etc

better chec the wiring or connections 1st--pull the plug from the pump and inspect for flaws and corrosion then plug back in--pump itself can be tested--the fuel injection pump in engine area may have issues
Landcruiser 100 vx, 2003 model with engine number 1HD-FTE is not starting, I've found out that the fuel pump, starter, battery are all functioning well. Where next should I look at.
