Question about RIM BlackBerry Bold Smartphone
My Bold has been working fine, both voice and data but in the last 2 days, I cannot make or receive calls. When I try to make a call, it says outgoing calls barred and when people try to ring me, it gives an unobtainable tone and disconnects. I can still send and receive email etc so the data connection is working.
I have contacted the network (o2) and they have said there are no call bars in place, no problems with sim swaps etc.
can anyone suggest how I can reset this to allow me to make calls?
you can go to your call logs icon and click the blackberry key. After that choos options from the menu and go to call barring. Check if you have accidently switched on call baring. You can also try and do a hard reset of the device. You perform this by switching off the phone and getting the battery out and in again.
