Question about Dream Maker Spas Pool & Spa
Powered down spa to replace backlight lamps on topside controller. Had to remove the back cover to access and clean corrosion from the backlight lamp socket connections. Insulation on connectors that was exposed to the atmosphere disintegrated when touched, leaving nothing but bare copper wire strands. Wires literally fell out of connector on PC Board but insulation trapped in the clear conformal coating revealed exactly where each conductor was landed. Redressing the wires, cleaning up the PC Board header where the wires were landed then reconnecting the wires resulted in the backlights working but the control buttons not and no display was visible any longer. Cycling the power off for several minutes and then back on doesn't help. The spa automatically goes into default two hour circulate/heat/clean mode and the remote dual pump control pad works fine. Is there a way to test/reset this main topside controller? Is there a color code lead connection wiring diagram available for the flat cable to the RJ45 connector? Any help would be appreciated.
