Why wont my bobcat lift bucket

Hi John:
This is in the toys category.
If you're like me, and it is a real working bobcat, I understand. All of my machines are toys.
= So, assuming this is a really machine, you'll be dealing with a hydraulic problem, and if it were me, I'd be trouble shooting sort of like this:
WORK SAFE - All hydraulics lowered, machine off.
1) Check hydraulic tank fluid level.
2) Look under machine for any signs of leakage
3) Check all hoses, cylinders, and concealed spaces for signs of leakage.
4) Check pump for signs of leakage, make sure drive is engaged.
Please reply to this post as a comment and we'll carry on unless you've spotted the problem.
Cheers.

Hydraulics just stopped all of a sudden with bucket up. it will not move at all. what is the trouble shooting steps to follow

OK AL:
SAFETY FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bucket up is DANGEROUS!
Get some blocking under it before you do anything.

If it were me, I'd find a way (Winch, Crane, Other machine, ???)
to safely support the bucket, then find a way to bleed the lift cylinders to allow the bucket to be lowered to the ground.

Then and ONLY then, I'd be looking at the hydraulics functions to determine if it was a valving or pump problem.

How to trouble shoot the brake system?

To trouble shoot the brake system you have to check:AntiLock Brake System ABS:
Hydraulic Modulator
Basically this unit holds steady or bleeds off pressure in brake line, as necessary, when the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects an abnormal deceleration in the speed of the wheel. On 2000 and later models the EBCM and Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) are mounted on a bracket attached on the left strut tower.
Wheel Speed Sensors, brake fluid level, brake hoses and lines, inspect and replacement, Brake hydraulic system-bleeding, Brake light switch, check, adjustment and replacement.
Disk brake caliper, disk brake pads, drum brake shoes, master cylinder, master cylinder reservoir, O-rings replacement, parking brake adjustment, parking brake cables inspect and replacement, parking brake shoes-replacement, power brake booster, check or replacement, wheel cylinder inspect and replace.
