Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Hi, press and hold the power button for 60 seconds, then turn it on. this should reset the unit. if still no boot try a disk utility, like acronis max blast,ect. hope this helps you out. good luck!

Click the "Start" button found at the bottom left hand side of your desktop. Select "Turn Off Computer" in the "Start" menu options.
Click "Restart" in the "Turn Off Computer" dialog box to reboot your computer.
Watch your computer's reboot display closely. Press "F2" when you see the system keys display at the bottom of the screen, just before the Windows splash screen appears, to access the BIOS panel.
Make any needed changes in the BIOS and hit the "F10" key to save your changes and exit the BIOS. Your computer will complete the startup process and launch Windows.
